I’m a 32-year-old who recently finished my college degree in Corporate Communications and am starting work on my Master’s degee in Communications. I have two kids (a 9-year-old son with ADHD, and an 19-year-old step-daughter who in typical fashion doesn’t like me) plus a significant other. I have a few interests outside of the busy life I have led these last few years including: reading, writing for pleasure, off-roading, and computers. I am also working on writing a book, but because I let myself get depressed to often it is going slowly. I am not a perfect person: I am overweight, I get angry at stupid stuff easily, I’m impatient at times, and I don’t deal with drama well; but I do listen well, and am sometimes overwhelmed with the strangers who ask me for help and guidance. While I should have started journaling like this years ago I didn’t, so I’m starting now. Until next time: take care of you.
